Cranberry Apple Crisp Recipe

Cranberry Apple Crisp Recipe

If you're anything like me, some of the best parts of the holidays always include baking! Here in south Florida, we get very excited when we wake up to cooler mornings, and can't wait to start baking all our favorites!  One of our family's favorite holiday breakfasts is a steamy Cranberry Apple Crisp topped with our Snap It Up Granola. Thanksgiving morning is something I look forward to all year; the boys are all home, we decorate our Christmas tree and watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade together. We have come to cherish these moments of being together so much more as everyone has grown up and has busy full lives! All three of my boys request this crisp as part of this special time we spend together! I hope you will try it and make it part of your family's holiday memories.

Cranberry Apple Crisp

4 granny smith apples- chopped

2 cups fresh cranberries

1 orange

½ cup sugar

2 T cinnamon

½ t salt

Chop the apples, add the cranberries. Zest the orange, then squeeze the juice and add to the fruit. Sprinkle the sugar, cinnamon and salt on top and mix it up. Pour into a cast iron skillet(or any baking dish you like) top with a whole 12 oz bag of Snap it Up Wildflower Granola and bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.

Enjoy on its own or topped with a scoop of vanilla greek yogurt!
